test iso.wcx on "exotic" locales
hi all
some time ago i found that TC enabled Unicode API for packer plugins and i added this functionality to iso.wcx
could anybody try to test new plug-in on Japan or Chinese filenames (or any non-English locales)?
sources & bins available at
h t t p : //ghisler. fileburst. com/beta/iso_wincmd_1.7.7b2.zip
all bug reports send to me (e-mail in read-me .txt file)
thank you

left is the iso mounted wiht daemon tool.
right is the content view with the new iso.wcx.
Then we can see right side is not the same with the left.

hi all
sorry for long reply...
2 all who found issues in filenames
so, i need unicode representation of your filenames and first 2-3 Mb of your images (where file name info for filesystem stored)... it seems there are issues in UCS2->UTF16 encoding issues in plugin
my e-mail: hoopoepg@gmail.com
thank you

it contains a number of different languages.
and funny enough, it seems to work now!? i will do some more testing.
anyway, thanks a lot for this, i really appreciate it.
/edit: ok, here's the one from my posting above, where it does NOT work properly. mounted in daemon tools it is fine....

left side opened with iso.wcx, right side mounted image.
note that "Альбомы" (together with Синглы) once is shown as it should, but the same word alone is crippled.

Iso File/Dir Names shown in chinese or as squares
Hello,
when I open many iso files as an archive in TC most file and folder names are shown as chinese(?) on my win7 pc or as boxes on my xp machine. One example is udcd502.iso (www.ultimatebootcd.com).
However, when I burn the isos to disc, they work fine and I can see the file names correctly.
Can I do something to change this behaviour?
Thanks.

ISO-13346 "UDF"
hoopoepg, do you plan to add the support for ISO-13346 "UDF" image format?
