Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.50 - Updated July 7th 2022
Thank you very much for your helping work. To install this latest version I had to add to wincmd.ini the line: AutoInstallPlugins=1
Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.50 - Updated July 7th 2022

Actually AutoInstallPlugins=1 is the default, so you must have added AutoInstallPlugins=0 yourself somewhere along the line.

Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.51 - Updated September 2nd 2022
@petermad although I am not one of the users of this project, it is certainly a useful and wonderfully extensive work that brings joy to its fans and makes working with Total Commander easier. However, I would like to ask you if you could shorten the description displayed on the main totalcmd.net page and put all the individual versions up in the download links, and display the detailed description only when clicked. With each new version you post here, your posts take up a huge amount of space and it's easy for other useful additions from your colleagues who use a less aggressive presentation to get lost among them.

I will consider joining all the Enlish versions in one page, and all te Danish versions in one page.I would like to ask you if you could shorten the description displayed on the main totalcmd.net page and put all the individual versions up in the download links
That's nothing I can change - it is how totalcmd.net works. But I could make the descriptions much shorter and then link to a more comprehensive description (totalcmd.net allows to add your own links)...and display the detailed description only when clicked.

Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.51 - Updated September 2nd 2022
wow, just checked over on tcnet.
Feels like all posts are displaying way too much content!
A visitor definitely does not need to read all that to be interested, and then click on over to the actual individual plugin page.

Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.51 - Updated September 2nd 2022
Yeah, you're right. I wrote it wrong, but I thought to use a short description for the site and a complete list of changes and features in the downloaded ZIP or here it this topic, which is also linked.
The same issue is with TCIMG, PHMS calendar, Language bar ... these addons are the most updated and every time publish the full description.

Back to Autorun again.
I remind you of the example from here. + quote from the help:

Can you handle it yourself or do you need help?# Next two commands enable em_Lang, where OPENLANGUAGEFILE in the "Command:" field, %A in the "Params:" field:

Overquoting is evil! 👎

It is almost only the Menu Item "Windows *" that is different for the different versions.
If you want to use one version for different OS'es I suggest you use the version for Windows 10.
Items in the Windows 10 version that won't work under Windows 7 and 8.1 are
File -> Windows' Share
Windows 10 - > Settings (all)
Windows 10 -> Metro Apps (all)
Windows 10 -> Accessories (some)
Misc. -> Enable / Disable Case Sensitivity in FOLDER Under Cursor
In Windows XP - there are several more items that won't work - so for XP I recommend that you use the XP version of the Menus.
You could also download ALL versions (10, 8.1, 7), and then start TC with a bat file with this content in the start:
And then put 2 files with this name in TC's language dir with these names:
wcmd_%WIN_VER%%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_1_eng.lng
wcmd_%WIN_VER%%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%_2_eng.lng
Content of the files:
English with Extended Menu I for TC 10.52 32/64bit under ANY 64bit Windows OS
English with Extended Menu II for TC 10.52 32/64bit under ANY 64bit Windows OS
Then choose: "English with Extended Menu I for TC 10.52 32/64bit under ANY Windows OS" in TC's language settings

Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.52 - Updated October 26th 2022
Hi, I've been using your excellent extended menus for v10.52 and wondered when v11 is released (and hopefully you'll make a newer version for that) will I just download and overwrite the previous installed 10.52 version?
TIA
Steve

Re: Extended Menus for TC 10.52 - Updated October 26th 2022
The 11.00 version of the menus will be released very soon (a day or two) after TC 11.00 final is released, I need the latest help files for the extra addons (that you can install via menu: "Help" -> "Install Addons for Total Commander").
Yes you can just install the new version over the previous - and if you had installed the addons, you ned to run "Help" -> "Install Addons for Total Commander" again.
