Tree view supported by filesystem plugins?
I tried to display the Registry filesystem plugin in tree view. It doesn't work for me. Any ideas? Is it a plugin or a TC problem?
Don't know if helps but I tried 3 diffrent reg-plugins and all of them show the same behavior.
You can see the HKEY level and if you go with the cursor to one and press [enter] the next lower level is displayed in the other pane. But the tree view doesn't change - not even if you are diving in the registry deeps in the other pane.

Indeed the tree view doesn't currently support plugins, sorry. I will add it to my wish list.

Great! I think it will e.g. make the handling with registry pugin much more comfortable. ( Though I have to say that it would never had come to my mind if Lefteous wouldn't have mentioned it.)

I guess this is exactly the thing explorer user searches for first time running Commander - how to activate tree view :). The thing is the most common Registry tool is regedit and this is how it's interface looks like. But actually if one found comfortable to work with files w/o tree view, what's wrong with Registry? The only thing I found VERY inconvenient - Commander cut long Registry "paths" in Current Directory Bar (Christian, is it possible to add optional tooltip for it - I'm talking about current tab bar).
But the thing that makes my work with registry via registry_vk plugin really pleasant is Directory Hotlist:
menuN=-Re&gistry
menuN+1=&[\]
cmdN+1=cd \\\Registry
menuN+2=HK&CU\Software
cmdN+2=cd \\\Registry\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
menuN+3=HK&LM\Software
cmdN+3=cd \\\Registry\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
menuN+4=&App Paths
cmdN+4=cd \\\Registry\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths
etc.
menuN+N=--
And you can add a key to User menu and e.g. set a KBD shortcut for it...[/face]
