Context menus hotkeys display

Post by *SailorMax »

Context menu of any file/directory/list has hotkeys without minus between keys:
"Ctrl-X" as "CtrlX"
"Alt-ENTER" as "AltENTER"
...

Confirmed but only for built-in English. German is fine.

Confirmed for English, "Ctrl+X" or "Alt+Enter" is expected but "CtrlX" and "AltEnter" is shown.
BTW for Russian hotkeys look as "Ctrl +X", "Alt +Enter" etc (with extra spaces).

I will check it. I'm not aware of any changes, was this already in TC 8.52?

"13.02.15 Added: Show command hotkeys in the right click context menu for Lister, Pack, Copy, Cut, Paste, Rename, Delete, and Properties (32/64)"

TC 8.52 doesn't have hotkeys in this menu

Ah, didn't see the "context" part, I thought you meant the main menu.

The big request, give the ability to disable this innovation even through wincmd.ini.

Why? It doesn't take any valuable space, does it?

Where do I CHANGE the text for this MENU? :D
Suddenly showing "CONTROL +X" instead of STRG+X is bad for the consistence of my language files. :D
(and yes please get rid of the Space before the + sign)
Thanks in Advance!

Menu is too broad and it takes up more space ( http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160611/mj4taehp.png ) and this hotkeys are too obvious to many users. Option to enable/disable would be very convenient.

Keyboard shortcuts and so obvious for many users, in addition, takes up more space. I agree with the opinion of Membury above, the possibility of its on / off switch at least through the keys.

"+" sign is absent in shortcuts

Post by *Sektor »

As you can in attached image, the "+" sign is absent for shortcuts in context file menu (mouse right-click). For instance: "CtrlC" instead of "Ctrl+C".
ALSO the same issue with right-click on F8 button.

Also with Danish language file, it shows up as "Control +X" of "Shift +X" - it should be "Ctrl+X" and "Skift+X" to conform with the rest of the Danish translation.

So you must allow strings in the the wcmd_xx.lng files for Control, Alt and Shift
