[9.0b2 x86] No more dimmed icons for hidden files/folders

Post by *Matthias030 »

When using an external IconLib in wincmd.ini then there are no dimmed icons for hidden files and folders in beta 2 - x86 version. This was working in beta 1.

Problem only occurs with custom IconLib. x64 version is not affected.

Edit: Is there an option to configure dimming icons? I have looked, but wasn't able to find it...

This is a feature, not a bug. When using IconLib, the hidden files are showing with an exclamation mark instead.

Currently there is no option, but I plan to add one where the user can choose between exclamation mark and dimmed.

Thanks for this information. An option would be nice... :-)

Hmm in 64bit TC9b2 using IconLib=%COMMANDER_EXE% hidden forders are shown wits and exclamation mark AND dimmed. In 32 bit version they are not dimmed. I like the 64bit version implementation

I forgot to remove the dimming in 64-bit. I plan to offer option for hidden files:
1. Dimmed
2. With exclamation
3. None of the two

I think both exclamation and dimmed is a bit too much?

Yes, that option would be fine.
Personaly I like it with exclamation but not dimmed

I like it - it makes it easier to disguingish the hidden files/folders from the other combinations with exlamation mark.

But an option would be great
