[TC9b3x64] - Lost cursor focus in Compare by contens

Post by *jvh »

1. Compare two different files with "Compare by Content" command
2. Press button "Edit mode"
3. Press Ctrl+F keys for searching

- cursor jumps to top-left position on left compare panel
- you can write text to "Enter search text" field and cursors moves from top-left position to right
- if you switch to another app (Alt+Tab) cursor moves back to Search dialog correctly
- no problem if you use F7 key in step3

Problem is only with 64-bit versions and occurs in TC 9b3 x64 as well as TC 8.52a x64.

Confirmed for TC9b3 and TC8.52a x64

It does not happen either if I click the Search button, or if I press F3 - only after pressing Crtl+F

It looks like TC is recreating the text cursor (caret) in the main dialog after the focus is lost. Since Windows only allows one cursor at the same time, you get this strange behaviour. I will ceck it.
