Updater ideas

For other programs there is the option to include beta/rc versions or just stable versions. I think this would be nice for TC as well.

In any case the download page shoud be displayed instead of the homepage. Depending on the 'want beta version' option different download pages could be opened. These URLs should be really stable.

I would like that there was a checkbox in the automatic update dialog like: "Don't ask again until the next release".

As it is now I only get one chance to use the offer to go to the download page - If I am busy at the time I would like to be reminded the next time I open TC (or at least the next day) - This way it is up to the user how much he/she want's to be reminded - only once or until "Don't ask again until next new release" is checked or until he/she updates of course.

You can set
AutoUpdateCheck=2
instead of
AutoUpdateCheck=1

TC will set that if you use a release version and confirm to be informed about updates automatically. If you use a beta, it will set AutoUpdateCheck=1

I'd prefer not to see release candidates. 8)
