Since the URL you posted only gives a 403 (Fobidden), nobody can say what you're referring to.

Dalai,

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

It doesn't work when I use an addon that allows opening text links in new tabs. If I copy the text link and paste it into a new tab, I get the picture. So the site somehow denies external referers or something (looks like bad web server config to me).

It not what I see: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/thumbbackground.png

What is your thumbnail setting: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/thumbconfig.png

It seems that your thumbnails atr not generate correct.

I got the same effect after installing uLister plug-in.

Uninstalling it did not resolve this.

Now I'm using Imagine plug-in which I presume is suppose to take control as of the setting Configuration > Thumbnails > Load Thumbnails > Get from Lister plugins for *.*

But still thumbnails are drawn with a white background.

I'm using TCv9RC5.

What I see in my ini file:

ThumbsLocation=%$LOCAL_APPDATA%\GHISLER
ThumbsCopyDel=1
ThumbsCustomFieldsEnabled=1
ThumbWidthNoCache=128
ThumbHeightNoCache=128

I don't think that you can change it - it depends on the plugin. TC accepts preview images of any aspect ratio, so the plugin should return just the image, no extra whitespace. You could try with a different plugin.

That sounds reasonable.

And explains that prior to the plug-in's installation I was using TC's internal implementation.

By the way, while I have been utilizing the switch ‘Get from Lister plugin for’ leaving the default value i.e. *.* someone would assume that this instructs TC to force use a Lister plug-in to draw thumbnails.
Does unselecting this instruct TC to internally draw thumbnails not using a Lister plugin?
I get no difference in the context of the white background even in the above use case.

Maybe you have to reload the thumbnails - mark (select) the files and run the cm_ReloadSelThumb command.
