The Youth Subculture of Total Commander
What do you think of it? There are many TC hipsters here and I 'm too. I refuse to use Windows Explorer except to run TC or you can't use it here. When admin deleted Total Commander from my account at school, I dressed up like Norton Commander colors during next CS lesson and installed it back again. That's exception when I have been forced to survive this.
By far, I'm 14 and I started using immediately when I become teen (13). It would be pretty hard and complicated if I got here earlier.

PS: One of things I don't know is music. Personally I like techno and electronic music as tip for you.

Version 0.1 since not everything is finished and lots
of things need improvement.

Dress up in blue tops, dark (it ISN'T goth subculture but to give DOS/Unix
feeling) bottoms, eyeliner if you are a girl and I don't know what to deal with
hair. I think you should have them straight and leave colors of them
normal. Use Total Commander every time you can and have TC on your
pendrive (tc2usb.exe). When you don't have pendrive deal with it using
Dropbox (https://db.tt/7FsTt6tUNl). Be hardcore TC user. If you are ever
stuck with Unix/Linux, use Midnight Commander (or any other if you can't
use here or you don't know Unix terminal basics). Use Windows Explorer only
when emergency or to run TC or there is no TC. But remember, always use TC on
school computers, your computer (except your father's and mother's PC or
other public PCs). You can look normal on swimming pool or when you are
in church.
Remember, this document is unfinished and everything can change here. If
you wanna join this subculture from version 0.1, you are lucky.

I'm in the number of those who use TC since a very long time (first version I installed was 2.1 and year was 1997 or so, I think).
You don't need to fight File Manager wars, just install TC on a USB drive (Portable mode) and you'll have it always with you, wherever you are and whatever computer you are using; the other people can stick with their beloved Windows Exploder, if they like. :p
If you often use a particular PC (and you are allowed to), you can copy the TC directory in your pendrive to the local machine, and you'll have no more need to install it anymore.
Don't forget your pendrive... just in case someone finds out this "illegal" file manager and you need to copy it back again.
Cheers,
