Lets see..
I've pressed Post/Reply -> new screen -> Notify me when reply is posted [ticked]
I could swear this is what I've done a hundred times now. But fingers crossed, would rather it be something simple and I'm just dumb, than something that's a pain to figure out.

I finally get notifications from emails again!!!

Just for the record - I don't get an email either when I reply - only when other people replies to a topic that I watch. So you cannot test by putting in a reply yourself.
Also make sure that it near the bottom of the page says: "Stop watching this topic". If it in stead says: "Watch this topic for replies" you will NOT get any email-notifications.

I tired everything you said, but I didn't get a notification.
Petermad, yep the only get replies when other people reply makes sense with everything I've seen so far.
"So you cannot test by putting in a reply yourself." - I created a second temporary account to test for replies, using a different mailing system https://10minutemail.net/
And it currently says "Stop watching this topic"
Thanks for trying Peter
