Currently I use EssentialPIM portable (free) for contacts and notes. Will see which one will catch me.

Hello folks!

I'm more the keyboard-jockey-type, so I've kept my TC as button-less as possible. Also I don't need fancy colours to work with my files.

Who needs toolbars and menus?

So here's how my TC looks. Nothing fancy, I know. But it's working for me, thank you!

In the Ergo screenshot, I like the alternate colors in the file pane and the highlight frame very much. How could I do something similar? Hope I'm not too off-topic...

Configuration -> Color -> Background 2: choose something like 245,245,245 as the color.

btw, default TC artwork kinda sucks, guys, pay some atention on GUI too, no hard feelings
i use tc for 4 years by now and that is single greatest piece of software ever available for managing your computer but some facelifting wouldnt harm

everytime I come into TC's homepage I get a shock at how ugly TC is in the screenshot. It makes me wonder how many people are scared away from the app because it looks "cheap". With so many awesome screenshots, Ghisler could do better.
