File Not Found Error

Post by *maxsomno »

:?: When I double click on an htm file (which is associated with Internet Explorer) in Total Commander, I recently started to get a "File Not Found" error message. A few seconds later iexplorer loads and displays the page. But when I close the browser, the error message dialogue box is still there. This is mainly a nuisance and not a major problem although it bugs me because I am anal retentive. TIA.

Files - Associate With... - Edit Type - uncheck DDE.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

:) Hello !
- And in addition to the Roman's tip : be sure that the %1 switch is placed within double-quotes on the line “Open” of the dialogue "Edit Type" like "%1" .
- Or else, you'll get a "File not found" when the file-names contain spaces…

 Kind regards,
Claude
