Define any shortcut with Ctrl (eg Ctrl-Alt-F5) for cm_PackFiles. Using this shortcut will pack into the same dir.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Doesn't work for me. It still uses the directory of the other panel...

No need for a shortcut. Just put the same directory on the other side too by
activating the same driveletter there.

This shortcut works for me, and i've been using it for a long time.
Maybe you guys should check it again.

And since TC 6.5, you can even use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F5 (when assigned to cm_packfiles) pack in same dir and delete the original files in the mean time.

That WAS my way till now, BUT <Ctrl+Alt+F5> does it better.
Thanks for posting the problem, and at least for the solution! :)
