How to use the Exif Plugin in Change File attrib.?

Post by *Wilhelm M. »

The title of the topic says it all... When I select Change File Attributes with the cursor on a jpg file, the dialog box does not offer any exif attributes to be changed. The tick box for "Change Plugin Attr." is selected, of course. Only the tc attributesd are offered.
Whats wrong?
(Exif Plugin version is 2.7)

This plugin is not suitable for this. Use this one.

First you choose "tc" as plugin, "writedate" as property, and then you click on the [+] button out to the right, now you can choose the plugin that is going to provide the data for the tc plugin - here you can choose exif and DateDigitized - see: https://tcmd.madsenworld.dk/setdatetoexif.png

You can also use other plugins than the exif plugin - for example: jpg-comment (as suggested by Fla$her) and exiftoolwdx <http://totalcmd.net/plugring/ExifToolWDX.html>
