I'm missing the full-text-search and bookmark capability which old winhelp doesn't have.
And I heared that winhelp will not be supported by Vista, at least by default.

CHM is hit number 1 in forum search...:

Also you could do a search in HISTORY.TXT for CHM.

Sorry I haven't read that before, although it was marked 'please read first'.icfu wrote:CHM is hit number 1 in forum search...:

Perhaps using RoboHelp? So we can have full-text-search and ESC (and other shortcuts, such as T for content) at the same time.
But Vista is still an problem, although seems to be minor one.
I found this:icfu wrote: Also you could do a search in HISTORY.TXT for CHM.

But the point is, where can I get a CHM version of the help?29.05.06 Added: Call CHM help file instead of HLP if present in the same dir with same name

If You only want to have a first look to the CHM integration inside TC, You can download the 6.55 version from this threadbamanzi wrote:I found this:But the point is, where can I get a CHM version of the help?29.05.06 Added: Call CHM help file instead of HLP if present in the same dir with same name
But keep in mind, it's outdated (TC 6.55) without any informations about the new features introduced with TC7!
Kind regards
Holger
What format is it which would support ESC? I don't know RoboHelp, sorry. When thinking about MacromediAdobe I have two thoughts:
1. Flash ad junk on websites
2. Adocrap Reader
What problems does Vista have with CHM? I thought it has problems with Winhelp only? Although that's a good joke too, MS will bury themselves one day...
I have pointed to the HISTORY.TXT as a source for future reference.
