Cache for content plugin values when using Multi-Rename Tool

For the context : I'm programming a content plugin which give the crc32 of a file.

When I use the Multi-Rename Tool to add crc32 value to the filename, it calculate the crc32 each time I do something : At opening the window, If I scrool the list, if I add something, ect...
Even when I press the [Start!] button, it recalculate again the value before renaming! (which with +300mb files is a real nightmare... :/)

Could you please add this cache feature to keep values until the Multi-Rename Tool is left instead requesting the plugin again ?

To resolve my problem, I thought also to add a cache function directly to the plugin, but I guess its the worst one, because the plugin didn't know when the Multi-Rename Tool is used and left.

Also, if anybody have another solution, please respond.
