bug? - Icons on button bar NOT clear!
XP PRO SP2, TC 7b1
I use my own icl for button bar.
All icons are Ture Color 32bit Alpha.
In 6.55, it's all right.
In 7b1, look like Ture Color 24bit.
No transparency, only shadow.
If I open "Chang button bar" dialog, and don't change anything, but click "OK", it's all right like 6.55.
But when TC closed and re-open, bad icons come back.
Icons shown to the left of the filename, when changed size to 20 or 24, look better than 6.55.
This's a good thing, but icons on button bar seem NOT better than 6.55.
I had changed "WinXP themes background" option, but no use.
Is this a bug? or my wrong...

Hello !
• You must use only 32-bit ICLs in order to get a nice display with sizes like 24² in the button-bar(s).
- I mean : the structure of that ICL must be 32-bit, no matter the icons it contains. 16-bit structures can't be treated correctly.
• Still in the button-bar, you can use *.ico separate files in that range (24²) and they are displayed quite fine here.
• However, I guess there is also an issue with your DEFAULT.BAR ¦ default.br2 files
(and others if you have more than one bar), perhaps…
- That you tell sounds a bit strange, since the display function has been changed and largely improved in 7.0,
this was a long big job…
- A new method is used.
• Here, I get the opposite, all icons *.ico 24 BPP (I don't use a higher colour depth) are OK on the screen, while they are damaged in 6.55 because the old process (double useless resizing).
Kind regards,
Claude

Good morning,
• In addition to the good Lefteous' tip, please check if you are using the right INI, and if it's located in the 7.0 TC-dir
- If you have installed the 7.0 separately (in a new folder), it's possible to get a mixing about the INIs and the used bar files with several versions (even when one only is running).
- This occured for me several times, and even currently, I'm bound to set my bar files as read only to avoid a pretty mess !
- If the correct INI is in the 7.0 dir., please try to add :
>> Click the clo_24_icl.sqx archive on that “Index” page to download it.

2Clo:
I do. but...
When I deleted all .br2 and re-open TC.
First look, it's OK.
but if I click button bar, open sub-bar then back main-bar, bad icon come back too.
That ICL I can't download it, "Can't find the server".

Hm, could it be possible that your ICL file is damaged?
You may also get yourself other libraries for testing here, perhaps you should create a new buttonbar from scratch for testing with different libraries...

hmm... http://www.sendmefile.com/ works fine here.
Maybe you can try other net storage such as mofile etc.
