at the time I can only work on the icons occasionally, so please be a little patient. I already did some work on them, but I'm not completely satisfied with my theme yet, as the overall coloring still needs more adjusting.
So stay tuned, I'll announce the next release here when it's finished.

I would like to change an icon in : vicons3_drivebar.dll
(replace the removable icon by an icon with an iPod image)

How can I do that ? Which tool do I need to be able to change icon into vicons3_drivebar.dll?

PS I tried Gconvert (shareware) but I didn't succeed. Gconvert didn't find any icons into vicons3_drivebar.dll...

I used the free ResourceHacker for this. Just open the .dll, right-click your chosen bitmap and replace it with the new one.

Thank you, this application is really versatile I already used it for CLCL translation but I see it can be used for icons 'hacking' as well.

Vicons3_drivebar.dll is available here for curious people but I must admit that the result is not really nice, nothing to see with your work

I would like to change one icon in the drivebar with resource hacker but I don't find where are stored the drivebar icons in the new TC7. I checked TOTALCMD.EXE and WCMICONS.DLL but without success ?

PS Great work with TC7 it must have been a lot of work

The drive icons are stored in Totalcmd.exe. There aren't really icons but bitmaps.
You need to save your changes in a external library and load it using the Drivelib setting.

What program can you suggest for viewing the content of Drivebar.dll? - I can't seem to open it in any of my usual icon programs.

TweakTC has an inbuilt preview.
Otherwise you need a resource editor, like Resource Hacker for example.

I replaced the "DiskRemove icon" by an Ipod icon I know it is not logical but it is what I am used to. I guess it is because I have the same secret love relationship with my Ipod that I have with TC
