Dragging an URL onto a TC panel

Post by *striker_69 »

I have several folders and files grouped under a common subbar.
I would like to add a new button, which is actually not a file/folder but an URL.
The idea is to have the URL that I need in the form of a button on my panel, so that I simply click on it when needed instead of going to the browser and wandering through bookmarks.
I tried to drag-and-drop the URL from the browser window onto the TC window, but it does not seem to work.
Probably I should create a new button in my subbar and assign to it certain parameters, but I do not know how to do that.
Sorry of this topic has been discussed already.

Any assistance or guidance is appreciated.

Create a new button. Under command, add e.g. http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=12979
Pick a suitable icon for it.

I was doing exactly this, but I kept fogetting to assign an icon to the new button, so it looked like there was nothing on the bar or as if TC did not understand what I wanted.

Thanks a lot!

Feat request: it would be nice to have a default (dummy) icon in this case
