Small bug with Hide caret for text plugins

Hi,

I don't know if it's a bug or a "feature" but none the less.

I'm using the SynPlus plugin for the lister. When I open a text file parsed by the SynPlus plugin, the caret does not show (although it showed for version 6.55).

It can be restored by pressing F3 (search).

IMHO, it seems that the problem is a result of the following fix:

20.08.06 Fixed: Lister: Hide caret (blinking text cursor) when switching from text view to bitmap/multimedia view.

Since SynPlus is considered a multimedia view the caret is not shown.

Can this issue be resolved?

You seem to be right, I will try to hide the caret only when Lister itself has created it.
