Empty label in drive list when no CD/DVD disc in drive
I noticed, that there is no text in the drive list.
Here is comparison.
It looks properly in TC 6.*:

and the same in TC 7.0 PB2:

I forgot the most important thing - it happens in Windows 98.telmich wrote:not confirmed, everything correct for me

I can confirm that, thanks - it seems that Windows 98 is returning an empty descrioton string when no CD is inserted. I will change that.

It depends on whether you have auto insert notification on or off in Windows. And after changing the media (CD/DVD) label doesn't change (no label update)

Now it is much better, almost perfectghisler(Author) wrote:Should be fixed now - please test!

It's still a difference:

First I put an Audio CD into the drive, then I replaced media with DVD data.
XP refreshed the label, 98 did not.
Maybe the reason is in system differences. My Computer in 98 showed the current label after manual refreshing (F5).
I use Tweak UI - there are two options in paranoia panel with autoinsert notifications (audio & data) selected.

Indeed if you turn off auto-insert notification, Total Commander cannot refresh the label. Windows isn't informed about the new label, so it returns the old one. This cannot be changed. So I think that the original bug is fixed now, right?
