would it be possible to have a new button/checkbox (...or something like it) in the "sync dirs" screen to select marked (or all actual visible) files after a first run of files comparison for a second run (means: a new run with the selected/visible files only)? (Something like: "Feed to listbox" in "Find Files", that allows to work with the found files...)
This will help to speedup the syncronization of folders with many files in a deep tree structure.
An example:
- the first "Compare" run will find files with differences in date/time and size. Because this run skips the comparison of the content of the files, the run will be fast.
- than, in the second run, it is possible to run a more detailed comparison of the found different files (found in the first run) with the (already existing) "by content" checkbox. This second run will now be much more quicker, as if all files were compared by content in the first run yet.
- after this second run it is possible to check the results manually (for example files with different date/time but same content and so on...)...
The titel of the new checkbox: "Only selected (in this(!) window)"
or, if it is an new button: "Compare selected in this(!) window"
Maybe it is the easiest idea to open a second (modal) Sync Dir screen for the second run, this may be easier to implement for the developer and easier for the user to understand and handle (and close both(!) screen when closing the second screen/or: rerun a compare files in the first screen after closing the second screen automaticly).

Ps.: it's urgent...
