How to save a Synchronize Directories session?

Hi everybody,

I'd like to know how to save the sync settings I'm using for different directories e. g.:

Synchronization 1:

dir x and dir y (only shows files to copy from left to right)

Synchronization 2:

dir A and dir B (shows unequal, shows files to copy from left to right and vice-versa)

etc.

so that I wouldn't need to configure everything every time I synchronize dirs.

Good morning, JP.

If I'm not mistaken, you need T.C. 7.0pb2 or higher in order to be able to save synchronize settings for future use.

(1) Open the synchronize dialogue as usual.
(2) Configure your settings as usual.
(3) Now locate the tiny folder icon in the upper left hand corner and click it.
(4) A dialogue box opens allowing you to save the synchronize settings for future use.
(5) Specify a name for your settings.

Next time you click on the folder icon in the upper left hand corner to load these settings and apply them.

As in your example you gave us two different synchronize scenarios, you will have to repeat the steps (1) to (5) twice,.

Note:
The folder icon in the upper left hand corner of the synchronize dialogue box is used to load/save synchronize settings.

Thanks for helping. I was using TC 6.55 (TC 7 is not yet available for usb U3) and this is feature exists only in the new beta. It's a pity that there's no U3 version of beta2.

It's a pity that there's no U3 version of beta2.

Workaround:
Just get the u3p file for Total Commander 6.54a, open it with Ctrl+PageDown
and put the new EXE, HLP etc in it. Then remove the U3 installation of TC
and install the new version.
