Some observations:
1. TC uses DOS names... :bleah:.
Upon further investigations this is not entirely TC's fault. It happened because the following reg key (I think FoxitReader adds it):
Code: Select all
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\FOXITR~1.EXE]
...
2. Please consider the following two registry snippets:
Code: Select all
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.html]
"PerceivedType"="text"
@="Opera.HTML"
"Content Type"="text/html"
Code: Select all
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Opera.HTML\shell\open\command]
@="\"C:\\Program Files\\Opera 9\\Opera.exe\" \"%1\""
3. I now have 2 actions for pdf. One for Foxit and the other for Acrobat. I can delete the action for Acrobat, but how do I delete the action for Foxit? Switching the default action doesn't seem to solve the issue.
4. In Control Panel->Folder Options no action is shown as default, although TC says that opening Foxit is the default action
Of course, all this happened with TC7pb2 and XPSP2
