plugin ex2fs.wfx for reading linux partitions

Post by *ekr »

Plugin ex2fs.wfx, that supports reading linux partitions from TC operating under MS Windows, does not seem to work when the two systems are installed on two different disks. Is there anything to do to remedy the problem?

What systems? What disks?

I've got something like below (and works fine):
-----------------------------
Samsung (250GB) - WinXP on 50GB primary partition; the rest is splitted into two other parts
Seagate (250GB) - openSUSE 10.2 on three partitions (swap, etc.); the rest is ntfs
(these disks are SATA2)
-----------------------------
ex2fs works fine under WinXP. But I've done some tricks during linux installation. First disk had been disconnected. In this way I don't need any boot manager. Switching between OSes is done thx BIOS.
