Sorry, no - this cannot be done because the temp file is deleted when you leave the inner archive in ANY way, also when switching tabs. This is absolutely necessary so you don't get a pile of open temp files.So any chance we will get the whole piece of cake some day? I.e. I will stay where I was: inside Cabs.winrk.cab????

I see. So for the moment I can and will live with the current behaviour without grumbling ...,
... but just because, as long as I just switch back and forth between the two panels (lefthand side and right hand side) without inactivating the tab which displays the inner archive, I can return there without problems.
