TC hangs while opening partially downloaded WMV movie

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC itself doesn't play WMV, the Windows Media Player plugin does. I guess that because the end is missing, the Media Player is trying to analyze the file from beginning to end, which may take a while...
