Multi rename function.
I woud like to have additional control to multi-rename tool.
Scrooling items up and down. It comes in handy if a file name is in diffrent position and coud be assigned wrong number.
Item Excluding from list.
and ability to everride for an certan item from specification.

You can actually move files up and down in the MultiRenameTool with Mouse or SHIFT+CURSOR UP/DOWNScrooling items up and down. It comes in handy if a file name is in diffrent position and coud be assigned wrong number.
If I get you right, this is already possible: You can delete items from the file list in the MRT with DEL. Or if you know in advance what file you don't want to rename, you just don't select it before opening the MRT.Item Excluding from list.
Hm, unfortunately I don't get what you mean by that...and ability to everride for an certan item from specification.
As I understand:
The thing needed is not removing but temporary disabling.StickyNomad wrote:If I get you right, this is already possible: You can delete items from the file list in the MRT with DEL. Thanks for clarification!
A possible way to exclude/include a file could be by pressing SPACE on its name. Then it could be 'greyed out' and will not be renamed. But If you then reload the results for a second rename task, this 'not-yet-renamed' file will also be loaded again (with its last state, include/exclude) and could be included in one of the next rename steps. So this is indeed an advantage over deleting a file, as a deleted file won't be reloaded.
Conclusion: support.

Erm, sorry, I think I have to pull out a bigger brain
I still don't get it

Ah, I see. Never missed such a thing, but maybe it could be useful when performing multiple rename steps.The thing needed is not removing but temporary disabling.

This coud also like a solution, only i thought, to prepare entiere without a resume. my example:
Test DB - [C]
=>C=5 // start counter at 5:
db_205
db_206
db_207
=>N=Test DB - 208-209-210 // Completely overwriten name.
db_208
=>C=11 // Start a counter at 11.
db_209
db_210
so the result woud be:
Test DB - 5
Test DB - 6
Test DB - 7
Test DB - 208-209-210
Test DB - 11
Test DB - 12
It woud be like inserting a diffrent rule at the specific line.
Test DB - [C]
=>C=5 // start counter at 5:
db_205
db_206
db_207
=>N=Test DB - 208-209-210 // Completely overwriten name.

db_209
db_210
