Has anyone looked at the content of this directory with Explorer? With TC? I was just amazed at that shell extension. Not only are the columns unusual, but it gathers up the contents of several subdirectories into one listing. Wow!

I was discussing with a colleague where/how to install a .net DLL and he led me to this.

I sure hate explorer and would like to view this in TC...

Don't think so, because it's not a column handler shell extension.
This is done by another shell extension: Assembly Cache Viewer (Shfusion.dll).
You can use the IEView Lister plugin to view this ShellFolder inside TC's QuickView panel.

Sorry - don't have that directory - what is it installed with?

Global Assembly Cache (GAC) installed by .Net 1.1/2.0/3.0 Runtime.
Download: Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
If you don't missed this yet, there is no need to install this package.
