Internal ZIP >2gb Warning
I started packing several dirs using the internal packer. After some time, I came back to find the warning about >2gb zip files being unreadable in some listers.
Is there any way to turn this warning off? I don't want it popping and stopping long compression jobs.
Since Winzip and pkware have supported >2gb archives for years, it would seem time to eliminate the message altogether. Or at least provide a way to disable it.

My first test was with a 3.7Gb Zip file, i've made a new one with more data and you're right a warning message appears.quantum wrote:My tests show the warning on any sized files as long as they add up to >4gb.
So that there are at least two circumstances when warning messages appear.
- One of the files that you're going to compress is bigger than 2Gb.
- Any sized files as long as they add up to >4Gb.
I'm agree with you, this messages must be optional. Bye.
