Synchronize directories FTP <--> local: Content option

Now we have this great search on FTP support including the option to search for text in files.
The next step would be to support the content option when synchronizing between FTP and a local directory. Can this be added easily?

Support. Very useful for FTP! Expecting long time when that grey checkbox become enabled

Support, because the FTP file date is often not very useful, especially after uploading from different locations.

If this gets implemented: automatically content-comparing remote files with different sizes would be useful to check text files with different line endings (CR/LF), that were converted during FTP transfer:
