I have a Windows Vista and a Windows XP installation (drive F: ) on my PC.
Way to the error:
1. Booting Vista
2. Starting TC 7.0 beta 3
3. Select "F:\Dokumente und Einstellungen" (I don't know the correct English path, under Vista it would be Users).
4. Select the Directory "Matthias". This is my user name under Vista and XP.
Now it happens:
a) Vista comes with the UAC message. After clicking ok
b) TC comes with the error message:
"Access violation at address ...01 Read of address ...01"
and asks whether you want to continue the program.
After the answer yes it behaves sometimes strange sometimes not. If you get access to the directory it seems to be empty (which is not true).
Additional information:
- It is surprising that the UAC feels "responsible" for a not running Windows XP.
- This happens too, if you do the same with Windows Explorer: The UAC gets active too.
- TC 6.56 cannot handle the UAC thing. It simply tells Access denied.

This is a known error which will be fixed in TC7 beta 4. Sorry for the inconvenience! It's nothing dangerous, though.
