File size does not show in thumbnail mode

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Yes, as well as in any other mode - Full, custom columns... (except for Brief).
You can add the file size to the thumbnails themselves, below the names. See Configuration -> Thumbnails.

If you mean below the names in file panel, I don't think so. No size is shown. (I'm not a dummy, I set '[=tc.size.Mbytes]' in text field and I check the check box.)

If else is about info tooltip it's ok. Size is there, when the mouse is over the picture.

This is by design. If you need to see the size, use a custom field like in Flint's screenshot.

Maybe you have defined some custom fields by file type.
TC for Linux please!

No. I use only WDX plugins custom fields. Here is INI section:

11_date=896959490
11_detect="EXT="JPG" | EXT="JPEG""

------------------------

All plugins are working well.
For me is not disturbing. If is not a large behavior, is not a bug.

Thank you.

I think what roentgen means is: have you tried to click the "Fields by type" button in the Thumbnails configuration dialog - maybe you have something configured there.

Yes, I had:

*.ani;*.bmp;*.dib;*.cam;*.cdr;*.cur;*.clp;*.dcm;*.acr;*.dcx;*.djvu;*.iw44;*.emf;*.eps;*.fpx;*.g3;*.gif;*.icl;*.ico;*.iff;*.lbm;*img;*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.kdc;*.ldf;*.lwf;*.pbm;*.pcd;*.pcx;*.pgm;*.png;*.ppm;*.psd;*.psp;*.ras;*.sun;*.rle;*.sff;*.sfw;*.sgi;*.rgb;*.swf;

I removed them and is same situation.
No problem. Is just a remark, not a bug report.

I close the topic.

Thank you very much.
