Problem with 'Send To'

Post by *andylucny »

When I click by right mouse button on a file in TC and immediately when mouse cursor gets on 'Send To' item of the opened menu, TC crash. It was OK before and started may be after an automatic update of my Windows. Reinstallation or upgrade of TC does not help. Right click and 'Send To' works fine in Windows Commander. Any advice ?

Welcome aboard andylucny

This sounds like a faulty shell extension.
You can use ShellExtView to temporary disable some of the shell extensions.
After download, start the program, sort by column "Type" and locate the extensions of type "Drop Handler".
You can use <F7>/<F8> to disable/enable selected items.
Maybe you find in the description of the drop handler one program you've installed in the near past. Disable this entry and test again in TC.

HTH,
Holger

Just for curiosity, which extension was causing the problem?
