Got this strange behavior when deleting a folder of pictures after burning them to DVD (so about 4,5GB of various size scanned and digital cam images) in 7.0 beta 4.

totalcmd.exe was using over 800MB of memory and using around two seconds to delete per file before I killed the process. As you can see CPU utilization was maxed, too.
Similar to http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=14258 execept this was not a USB drive but rather an internal SATA drive.
Sys info:
-Windows Vista ultimate 32-bit
-Core2Duo E6600 @ 2700Mhz
-4GB of RAM, 3GB visible to Windows
-Deleting from secondary SATA drive (not boot drive, but 'd:')
-TC started 'as an administrator' (got the username^ in the program bar)
-TC 7.0 b4 (now RC1)
-TC was deleting to recycle bin even though 'F8/Del deletes to recycle bni' option was selected and I'm *positive* I shift-deleted (I pretty much always do.)
-Installed TC7RC1 and tried to reproduce but was unable to.

Could be a virus scanner - when you delete to recycle bin, all the files are moved, not deleted, so they all get scanned by the virus scanner...
