Commands Spreadsheet
For anyone who wants it I have the command list formatted for Excel. I can't find a way to attach in this forum but will gladly send a copy if you email tcebobc@comcast.net.

Re: Commands Spreadsheet
I like the idea, but I despise Excel. It would be nice if "indipendent" people like us (tcebob wrote:For anyone who wants it I have the command list formatted for Excel.

Completely off topic but re your signature - ""We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true." - Robert Silensky".
Tried to PM you but that function is disabled.

Re: Commands Spreadsheet
I'll respond to a couple:
SanskritFritz - Useful to me because scanning the popup in the icon editor is really painful. This way I can sort in different ways. Besides, it got me out of actual work for 1/2 hour.
Oblomov - (Haven't you gotten out of bed YET?) Actually, Excel is the best of the commonly available spreadsheets. You may not spise it because of the MS brand or you may have specific problems with it. Yes, I do use Open Office. Not because I think it's better but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay up for 5 copies of Excel. I do save my files in Excel mode for compatability.

Re: List of Commands is available as HTML here ...
thanks to tcebob ![/quote]
Thank YOU, Knowbody, for making it available!

tcebob, knowbody,
1) to make Your cm_ list even more useful for beginners of TC, You could write some short instructions how to integrate these internal commands in the button bar or/and in the menu bar of TC and add this at the end of Your HTML file.
(Would be easier and more comfortable, than to search in multiple sources such as TC.hlp or TC Manual.)
What do You think of this?
2) Will You keep this list up-to-date with future versions of TC?
3) On Maxwish's website You can download a tool for viewing all cm_ commands (TC Commands List 1.3 by Fabio Chelly) and also for modifying menu bar (TC Menu Editor 1.03 by Roman aka Hacker on this forum).
But this You probably know.
Thanks for the good works
Pete

1) Thanks for the confidence but I'm not at all an expert in customizing TC.
2) Sure.
3) Fabio's Commands List is a really nice piece of programming. I have a copy of the Menu Editor but have not had occasion to use it yet. A spreadsheet list offers the advantage of customizablility; adding notes and new commands. Also makes copying with ctl-c available. Needed for one with my typing skills.
