I just extracted the archive which contained the 9460 files and the pecentage was displayed correctly. I don't know if the original issue has been fixed but the problem related to hidden/ignored files is fixed in RC2

Same issue here, while deleting a lot of files >100k from an external HDD connected via USB 3.0 I got 600% progress

PS : I also think that it has to do something with the depth of all directories deleted

This can happen when counting the files gives a different number than when actually deleting them.

The problem seems that you tried to delete files from recycle bin to recycle bin, leading to an infinite loop.
