Slow mouse wheel scrolling
I don't know if this is a speciality of TC7 rc2.
I have a4tech mouse and scrolling in tc7 using wheel is very slow = unusuable. The mouse works fine in other applications.
Interesting is that mouse wheel scrolling influences "keyboard" scrolling. (Moving in the list up or down with cursor.) Keyboard scrolling works ok but when I try to scroll with mouse wheel and then try to scroll with keyboard - even keyboard scrolling is slowed down but only for a while. After the while it works ok again.

This is actually a "feature" of XP called "smooth scrolling". To turn it off, right click on the desktop and choose "Properties". There is a button called "Effects" on the display settings page, where you need to turn off an option called "use transition menus..." or similar. I only have the German XP, so I can't tell you the exact option.

You can still turn it off in Windows 7. It's in Control Panel - System. The translation of the German option is something like "System performance".
