Strange behavior with Ctrl + left/right
I was sorting some files and noticed this strange behavior.
If you make a file with no size (an empty file) in the left side,
put the cursor on it and press [Ctrl + ->] you would belive
that the left directory "jumps" over at the right side. But it dosen't.
TC hangs for a few seconds, and sometimes shows a dialog box
that says "connect" //__ The right file window dosen't change.
If the cursor is on a file with any size when pressing [Ctrl + ->]
theres no problem.
I guess TC thinks that the empty file is a directory. Can this behavior be confirmed?

I cannot confirm this problem either. Ctrl+Arrow should open the dir or archive under the cursor in the other window. I can only guess that you have installed a packer plugin with "by content" option, which thinks that this file belongs to it, but fails to open it because it's empty.

Nope... no plugins like that installed/configured. I even tried to delete wincmd.ini TC behaved the same way. I guess TC just don't like empty filesghisler(Author) wrote:I can only guess that you have installed a packer plugin with "by content" option, which thinks that this file belongs to it, but fails to open it because it's empty.

It works exactly the same way for me, although after a few attempts to recreates the bug the delay vanishedkrojc wrote:It works for me just fine!, but it does wait for a sec...

Well... I've tried it on my older computer and I couldn't believe my eyes,

TC 5.51 loaded with plugins (although that's doesn't seems to be the reason)
Win 98 (no se, not a single patch)
4.10.1998

I can confirm the problem on Wndows XP now! Indeed it seems to be a WinXP bug. I will try to find a workaround.
