TC7RC3 problem with erasing directories under Vista
Total Commander 7 RC3 seems to have got some problems when erasing directories with Windows Vista running created in erlier NT familly systems. I've just ran TC not in Admin mode, and I would like to erase some directories on disk (directories & files created in Windows XP - not in Vista). Then TC elevates rights - I clicked [All as administrator] - TC erased all files inside directories, but all directory structure remains. When TC run in Administrator mode problem not occurs.

Hmm, there is a function to remove a directory as Administrator if it fails as normal user. Apparently this function isn't called in your case. Can you please check via Alt+Enter what permissions this directory has? How are they different from permissions of directories e.g. under c:\users (which belong to other users)?

Does anyone else have this problem? I cannot reproduce it here, and therefore I cannot fix it without more information about the user rights for these directories.

Please choose a different location for the settings files during installation than the program dir if you choose to install to a non user-writable directory.
