Features request (multirename & cmdline)...

Post by *jc142857 »

Hi ,
I am using tc from a while now ... and I found that it would be interresting in the multirename tool to be able to retreive all files (those renamed, and those NOT renamed) ...
It seems that now, we can only loop on renamed files. but if the filename didn't match the pattern to lookat/modify, it is not returned...

The second request is regarding the command line.
Would it be possible to have a behaviour like the shell in unix, meaning [tab] on cd c:\doc[tab] .. would finish the line with directory name (and will fill with 'documents and settings' ... ), or until a other occurence exists ...

Anyway,
Continue that great job ...
Jaycee.

About your second request: Some kind of autocomplete is indeed planned, I'm already experimenting with it. However, it will not worj with TAB, but similar to autocomplete in Internet Explorer.

That's cool Christian! It would be nice to see similar behaviour in the Path Field above the filelist.

In TC7 please see Configuration / Options / Operation:
- Auto-complete paths
- Auto-append suggested name (if desired)
