tcCalendar: cannot apply dates in configdialog

Post by *versalzen »

hi, i tried your plugin a long time ago and today i downloaded a newer version and saw, it worked out as good and sexy :-)

i really like it. thanks!

now, i'd want to add some dates to work with it in daily life and not only test it anymore.
but with this, some problems occur, which never occur befor :-/

also, i'm very confuses about your info onto your website:

on http://maximus.in.ua/tccalendar.php

tcCalendar 2.0u7
31.01.2007 | Download /570.3 Kb/

tcCalendar 2.5beta5
06.10.2006 | Download /465.4 Kb/

so why is the newer version number older in date? i do not understand.

anyway, i installed both version and had the same problems:

if i want to set dates (dates sets -> set of common dates) to anything in the pulldownmenu and press 'apply', then __NONE__ overwrites my choice.
same in 'set of personal dates'
also, if i create a new set. same problem.

any ideas?

i'm using TC 7.0 rc5 on XPsp2

cheers, mario

Because the older version has been provided with some new dates sets - that's my guess.

In order to save 'set of common dates' and 'set of personal dates' you have to click (at the top) "Program" -> "Save Settings"

The "Apply" button works as a RESET button - I guess it got a wrong label during translation?

indeed. thanks!
it's a very pitty, to replace "apply" with "reset". firstly i was thinking to ignore this strange behaviour and don't write into this forum and test tccalendar the next year again. good that i didnt :-)
