Compare by contents: Dbl-click on splitter should move it

Post by *Alextp »

Suggested at forum.wincmd.ru:

Compare by contents: Dbl-click on splitter should move it to the window center. Like it is in file panels.

That's not about button.
That's about double-click.

You can always connect this command to a keyboard combination key...

What's the functional difference between clicking on one button or double clicking on the splitter line?

You can even combine both: hotkey and button. :)

What for we have a double-click feature for the main file panels in TC?

This Compare dialog should behave the same IMHO.

Support. It shouldn't be that difficult. I don't think it's even worth to discuss it that much.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

If you hold down Shift or Ctrl and click then the divider jumps to the nearest position that divides with 25 (0, 25, 50, 75 or 100).

Maybe that is of some help?

And you let us boil in hot water here? That's enough for me I must say, double clicking on (any) separator is way too tricky for me .

Hmmm, and how would you use this combination while you are holding a slice of pizza in one hand? ;)
