CONNECT TO FTP OR URL - missing information

hi everyone,
I think major and important feature would be, when you "copy&paste" link (say multiple files which I do all the time URL: h t t p....),
little window shows only exact filename on server, NOT YOUR CUSTOM filename.

So if you download "htt... abc dot com/09824123.avi",
and you name it to be saved as (locally): "myMovie_2007.avi" it will be shown only "09824123.avi" progress.

I think this is EXTREMELY easy task to do for developers (via SDK), but i have no idea how.
