[TC7rc5] ramdon hanging (lagging) behavior
I searched the forum to see if anyone else was experiencing the very same issue to avoid double post, but my poor searching skill gave me no result. So here it goes;
When compressed files, such as RAR or Zip files, are extracted using 'Extract to folder named after archive' context menu of any version of WinRAR within TC7, TC7 RAMDONLY hangs for few seconds. (In fact, 'lagging' may be more appropriate term than 'hanging', but anyway. And yes, I set my TC7's 'Mouse selection mode' to Windows standard, so I can have normal Windows context menu within TC7 as I have in Windows Expolorer.)
And when TC7 hangs, '\\Desktop Connect' window appears as screenshot attached. TC7 has been behaived like this since the early TC7pb1.

Is it just me having this problem?
I am using TC7rc5 on English version of Windows Vista Ultimate x64 with 'Language for non-Unicode programs' set to 'Korean (Korea)' in order to view proper korean file name(s).
Thanks!

Maybe it's because you have a tree on the left panel? Do you get the same problem when you have a directory there?

I have tried to reproduce it now, also in the debugger, but the relevant functions which can show the "Connect" dialog were never called for the tree root.
It may be a problem with your settings. Please contact me by e-mail: beta at ghisler dot com and send me your wincmd.ini (zipped), so I can test with your settings. Thanks!

Of course not, because it didn't support a tree starting at the desktop...But the thing is that this behavior does not occur on TC6.56.

This was fixed in TC 7.01. The fix was confirmed in the private beta forum, so I'm moving this thread to the fixed bugs forum.
