TC7.01 - Ctrl+C when nothing selected

Post by *white »

Ctrl+C when nothing selected

1) Lister when viewing a text/binary/hex/html/unicode/utf-8 file -> error message "Nothing selected!", clipboard is not cleared
2) Lister when viewing a rtf-file -> nothing happens, clipboard is not cleared
3) Compare By Content -> clipboard IS cleared (whether in Edit mode or not)

I think the preferred way is like situation 2), nothing should happen and the clipboard should not be cleared. Compare with other programs..

Confirmed behaviour, and I agree that 2 should be the preferred behaviour.

I will consider that. The compare function uses the same function for Ctrl+C and for copying to the other panel, where an empty line must be copied too...
