Wrongly cut paths when copying (again)

I suddenly noticed that there are still some problems in display path cut algorithm. Here is the file names (with paths) on which I met the bug:
From: D:\Parallels Virtual Machines\Win2003\Win2003.hdd
To: \\origin-new\D$\Virtual Machines\Parallels\Win2003\Win2003.hdd

In this case the target path is shown as:
\\origin-new\D$\Virtual Machines\Paralle\Win2003\Win2003.hdd
That is, in "Parallels" the two last characters are just removed, and no ellipsis added instead.
