Changing case in Vista

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC does not ask for administrator permissions when changing case for a file/dir.

When in-place renaming, no error is given and the file is not renamed.

With MRT, TC gives a warning and the renaming fails.
TC for Linux please!

I'm sorry, the multi-rename tool isn't currently supported in directories where you do not have any write rights.
