Hello Alexeï !
• I tested the last “Pro” version about the
Thumb nails view,
and I noticed some hitches that you can see on
THIS IMAGE MONTAGE :
• The
#1. image shows the thumbnail in U.V. for a 24² - 24 BPP icon having a solid background (RGB=255-255-230),
that real BG is shown as the
#3. image.
- This icon is displayed as blown up to
48², that's unexpected and rather ugly…
- Moreover, the BG is filled with the default selection colour (a bit changed, because probably the smoothing feature of Win…), that is also unexpected and also ugly. The empty remaining space is not filled with the selection colour,
only the frame is.
• The
#2. image is the real icon as displayed in the normal UV window, while the “Transparency” option is «
Off».
• The
#4. image is the same icon while the “Transparency” option is «
On».
- Despite that icon does
not contain any transparency datum,
it's coloured solid original BG is considered as the transparency colour.
- That causes a halation around the motif, since indeed the original (hand-made) anti-aliasing
is not planned for that BG-colour (which is the BG of the normal UV window here).
- The “
Magenta” frames I added are not relevant, they indicate the occupied area only.
- Let's notice too that the “Eaten black” phenomenon is not visible here, simply because this icon doesn't contain pure black “0 0 0”…
• The
#5. image is the same icon as a thumb nail in a TC panel. Here, it's shown as its real size,
and its BG is
not filled with the selection colour, while the remaining empty space is, that seems logical IMHO…
- Because using the “Imagine” plug-in, we have a minor defect about the white BG, not a big deal.
