Better encoding selection in file-search dialog
As the “ASCII”, “UTF-16”, and “UTF-8” options in the file-search dialog are mutually exclusive, it would be better if these options were presented in a combobox. That way it’s easier to add more encodings later. We lose the mnemonics to the encodings, though, which is bad, but this can perhaps either be simulated, or at least the last used encoding can be remembered (which is more important and not done today).

Maybe the TextSearch-Plugin can help, too, in situations where you don't care about the encoding of files.
P.S.: Support+ (as long as "autodetect" / "search all encodings" is optional).
